This Year’s Report
Our 2026 Impact Report captures a defining moment for Island Coastal Economic Trust and the coastal communities we serve. Across Vancouver Island and the surrounding coast, First Nations, local governments, and the Province of British Columbia are working together toward a renewed model for regional economic development—one rooted in shared leadership, stronger relationships, and lasting prosperity.
Alongside this progress, the report highlights the Trust’s continued investment in community-led economic development. In 2025–26, our Board committed $2.24 million to help catalyze $45.8 million in major projects, new construction, and regional collaboration across Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and island and inlet communities.
